Well – to be brief – it has to be remembered that all of this is really quite simple. When we actually realise what we're thinking about - this is, in fact, the time we are ready to leave that thought and move on to the next one.
It must be remembered that this is the 'exact point' at which we 'panic' - any holding on or 'running away' beyond this point IS unecessary and seriously damaging (the continuation of panic).
Indeed, this 'cutting-off' process is very subtle – hence why us extreme intense types tend to lack trust in it!
So no magic cures - just understanding – that is the cure!
In the years to my recovery it has to be appreciated that I went through real hell over a long time and ONLY realised exactly what made me feel better when I was at ‘rock bottom’- as it was far easier to 'see' I was 'forcing' thoughts beyond what was necessary.
So if you are trying this and I know it from many readers experiences – the temptation to panic analyse or fly will be extremely hard to resist in the early days as cumulative anxiety has built up over time, but the relief is far greater than the lure of that temptation!
For me, now, I don't panic fight any more and flow with the normal array of negative and positive thoughts! Truth - though I have taken a very hard road to discover it- it’s like one reader said as part of a very nice comment on the 'NoMorePanic' website forum – 'being a fellow suffer, if I had a cure I would tell the world for free!'.
Dead right – and just what I’m trying to do here!
Re the journals - these are a natural extension to this site and will give you a real insight into the workings of this concept via the many contributory case studies, as well as my own of course. They will show you how it works in 'real life' if you like, so read my site/other site/forum comments to see if people are getting real value for money! Many thanks Will
